Shartin owner buys replacement mare in Beyond Words

Coming from Mark Purdon stable. She has a win over Stablemate  Amazing Dream who beat the boys in Auckland Cup. Never raced at 2 or 3yo. 9 starts and 5 wins and 3 seconds for her career


The daughter of Art Major passed her vet examination on Wednesday and agent John Curtin is expecting money to arrive on Thursday to seal the deal that will see Beyond Words sold to United States-based owner Richard Poillucci, the man who raced former Kiwi-bred world champion Shartin.

“It is a big money sale but she will do a super job up there,” Curtin told HRNZ.

Wow. This owner is not afraid to spend big money to bring us some nice horses. And you don't see him spending big money at the yearling sales which can bring nice results but also a lot of risks.

Makes her first start tonight but NOT in King's barn who is still absent from M.  She's in Nifty Normans barn and Dunn is driving.   When was the last time you saw a horse from this owner be without King and Tetrick?  Love to know the behind the scenes on what is going on.
