Hers's the problem as I see it. The only harness track racing, and they can not break a million in handle? How much did the track lose today? Since all the handle was from online wagering, what is the track's cut? 3%? IF half goes to the purse account, that left the track with under $15,000 in revenue. Track is  losing money daily with harness racing, so why bother running a card in the first place? To congratulate a track for not handling a million, when it is the ONLY track racing that day, is pretty damn stupid. It only draws more attention to show why harness racing needs to be shut down.

Once woodbine wrapped wed nite (23rd), I locked into pompano audio every minute 10th-13th...Gabe delivered solid promos, pre-race analysises, racecalls and price cleanup.  Comfortable and friendly presentation.
As a gambler listening, Gabe clearly a pro, knowledgable and consistent...and thats all I want.

Dont know nor care about politics. Makes the Pompano presentation credible and big league and gonna tuned in to a lot more with most of canadas tracks knocked out tfn.

Totally Agree....... Whether its Pompano, Scioto Downs, Red Mile or The Meadowlands, he's as good as they come.

gabe is worth listening too on his race picks. he tosses some decent odds horses out there and many run better then what i had thought. unlike the other tracks there are times i re handicap a race because of his thoughts. much much better than most tracks. calls a pretty good race too.

   I like Gabe myself. Matter of fact out of all announcers we have today he is one of the best. Barry on the Ohio circuit is another one, he does a great job. Both of them are very knowledgeable and are easy to listen to. Errors Ratcliff at Cleveburg grew on me. Guy at Mohawk at Woodbine i like him to.
  Sam McKee was my favorite. The guy that called Big M and indy downs can't remember his name I liked him to.

  I personally can't stand to listen to Settlemore. IMVHO I think he sucks on Gural's cock. Everytime he says Gural name it makes my skin crawl.
