I don't think I have seen this before. It was the 6th race at the Meadowlands. Simon Allard doesn't show in time to drive #9 Muay Hanover so there was a late driver change to Scott Zeron as the horses were coming on the track. Because of this late driver change, the horse was scratched from betting but was able to race for the purse. If you had the scratched horse, you got the favorite. Probably because of the pick four??

It happens every couple of years, but there was more to the changes.

Joe Bongiorno was the driver listed in the program, at around 6:30 the judges named Allard to drive and then at post time they had to change to Zeron, thus the consolation payouts and racing for purse only.

In the 7th race the 4 Pat Matters show a sick scratch in the program for Thur the 24 @ Delaware in the Ms Versatility.

Question to those that have owned or trained horses, if she was really sick??? 3 days isnt enough time to recover correct??

The 9 was scratched in 3rd race not the 6th.
