Here is something to ponder. According to the website of Jeff Gural's Allerage Farm, between his two farms, one in New York and the other in PA., he has 36 broodmares. Only 4 of them are breed to New York Stallions. 3 to Chapter 7 and the other to Credit Winner.
So, where does Jeffery see NY breeding? Well his farm shows almost zero confidence in the program as Chapter 7 is bred for Grand Circuit events. 1 mare out of 36 bredd for the NYSS program.

Gural hates 1/2 mile tracks. That is why he owns the only 2 in the state that are longer than 1/2 mile...

Jeffery invest heavily into NY bred trotters long before he made that awful mistake in buying VD and opening Tioga.

Tioga is not really closing much earlier than originally intended.
From 9/19 to 9/12 now.

There’s nothing wrong with the hotel.
$90/night for horsemen, direct connection to the track, and before it was there, there was nothing close to stay at that was higher than 1 Star.
You had to stay in Sayre to find something decent, 10 miles away.
