Actually, there are fans that use the word that was his demise > fag < and were perhaps not offended [i.e. John Frank includes an assortment of homophobics in his posts]. Diggin down - Fox Sports and the Reds team both need to inquire w/ the producer and the other on-air guys. Betcha all the boys in the studio were amused and laughing heartily when Thommy-Boy blurted out his remark on the fag capitol of the country. BUT * Likely, Brennaman will be the only guy tossed under the bus.
This guy has had a big $$$ job for 35 years covering the Reds and then on Big Fox during the NFL. In this era of zero tolerance, doubt the Reds will risk public backlash by giving Thom a break. Causing me to wonder - do you think this guy can call the races ?
