Shipping from Canada to the US
« on: August 06, 2020, 09:29:44 AM »
Was wondering if there are restrictions on shipping a horse from Canada to the US because of Covid-19.
Anybody done it yet?

People have to quarantine 14 days haven’t heard any rules for horses. One left Jersey last Thursday and raced at Mohawk Saturday

We shipped one to Canada last week, horses have no quarantine. And we use Whelan in the past, no problems with him or Doyle Transport.

What happens to the driver?
Does he get to go back and forth between countries or has to either quarantine or switch drivers at the border?
