He will get a 1 year ban on interviews just like Joe B got when he said his dad told him to race easy. Shit for brains. You can't fix stupid.

I agree. A lot of people on here just want to complain about something. I don't necessarily think it's race fixing if you don't want to risk injury on a horse, mostly when there's more money on the line in the coming weeks. No other trotter in that field was going 50.2. What a mile!

100% true.  I've been around this game for over 65 years and trainers have been racing horses like this since then.  If it was an absolute stiff he would have gotten away 7th or 8th and never moved.  I listened to Alagna interview and he danced all around the question.  He raced as hard as he could last night was short and would not have won even if he was on top of his game.  The other horse was giant last night.  Next week with a hard race under her belt might be a different story.  Stay tuned

She did but lost. She got third because the winner had a big mile. Pretty sure coming home in 26.2 and getting third is trying to win. trainers try to be as humble as possible in interviews. They say things because they are put on the spot. I'm pretty sure if you ask a trainer if they want to win they will say yes. The trainer doesn't want to injury a horse just to please the betters.

HOLY SHIT BATMAN

Everyone is missing the point.

Every horse is supposed to be trying for the win. Alagna admitted he was racing the race as a prep for the Hambo

Oaks. Bettors have rights that need to be protected. If Alagna said nothing everyone would assume Ramona

would leave for position. Could see got second no doubt! Could she have won who knows? She is as good as

Sorella. All Alagna had to say was we will be giving it our all and hope to win. That was legal.

Alagna telling the world he is priming her for the Oaks and not all out is illegal.  Against the law.! Immoral!

Alagna made a bad mistake and needs to get days. He Fuked up! Wake up everyone. He changed the race and

the pick 3 and pick 5. Two horses could win the race. Sorella and Ramona. After the comment Ramona should

have been scratched!!!

I also think elimination races should be non-betting.  If I'm 3rd or 4th on the rail what is my incentive to go 1st up if I only need to finish 8th to make the final?
