Real doctor maybe one of those not the third. More or less they came limping into the final and were not a factor. One was a decent horse the other a also ran.

Brown Jug no you don't judge success failure solely on the 2 or old season but this is a game that cost doesn't stop once they finish that 2 yr old season. You can tact on another 45k to the also rans or non starters at 2. The hole only gets bigger if that 3 year old year isnt a complete 180.

The industry however does treat 2 and 3 yr old years for a sire. Also the % that make 50k and that make 100k. That's the standard. If there was a sire batting .075 with 100k earnings I can guarantee that sire won't be breeding many. This game is all about stats, money, success or lack of success. I know the orginal arguement of getting people in the game but I'm just being realistic on the numbers. Maybe many have really good 3 yr old seasons and then these numbers can be viewed as positive.

my friend - if i still owned that car,  the amount I could sell it for - I could go partners with Purple on a horse - of course we'd argue about who is in charge of managing the horse and he'd be instructing Dave Miller on how to drive it, but everything else would be aok.

i never ever EVER tell a driver how to drive a horse
all ill say is " the horse is good" or "lets see what happens"

No earnings since July 2019
Training bills since then though....

Second quarter in 30.1
Middle half of 59.4
Backed through them in the stretch

Not good for advertising

Owners wanted a new set of hands and after months of training Ake sent her back. Showed no heart last night. Could just be the SK way?

That is correct a lot of them are hot. Broadway Hall had issues like that with babies but at least some of them where very fast. Just had to handle them a bit differently. But yes the early talent of SK babies much to the lacking. But SK himself never raced at 2 or 3 in Europe and was a outstanding older horse.

I was just lookng at the stats of the stables horses for the past few years, only one making money is the CEO.  Which is fine as all those penny donators are having fun.

500 horses

Maybe 4 good ones right now

Mismanagement
Over promising

How does a 250k horse end up not getting checks nw2?

Well winnjng a baby race by 30 lenghts to pump up price and expectations and burning them out early doesnt help

you lose credibility when you say 500 horses
when it’s clearly less than half of that

when you exaggerate by over 100% it’s hard for people to take you seriously. try dialing it down a bit if you’re looking for anyone to begin to take you seriously
