At some whether it's mid year or into next year when casinos placed at racetracks will have new rules and regulation
with how many people can gamble revenues will be lower. When 30.8 mln people on unemployment and 7.5% of homes
in forbearance it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know purse cuts will be coming at all racino tracks. Consumers will be in
saving mode no spending or gambling mode. Many businesses will suffer.

Nonsense. Pensions are likely to be impacted  and even social security may be cut - it was already teetering on insolvency. Everybody at best is in for a haircut. Uib is being used up now - it won't last forever. If gvt loses a big chunk of revenue and builds up debt there ain't gonna be the money for people to rely on. Right now, the us is hanging on and will be ok. But if it gets worse who knows.

governments are well passed the point of trying to justify or rationalize the handouts
if they ever get through this they are not then going to turnaround and cut benefits to the people they just supported
its all monopoly money anyway at this point

For sure purses will be down from previous levels.  The casinos not operating for 2 months as of now will make a big dent in the purse account.  Tracks like scioto downs are schedule to open this week.  They usually are shut down for 8 months which builds their purse account.  Now they are to open a meet with only 6 months worth of revenue.  Miami Valley will see this same fate when they open up at the first of the year.  Plus when the casinos open back up their handle will not be the same as it was.
