economics 101
anyone not taking unemployment is a help not a drag on the economy, and trust me the economy is and will be in horrific shape for some time
if you are working even at or slightly above minimum wage that helps(assuming people buy food ,gas etc) to get money flowing

also racing is not hard to do, use multiple paddocks for distancing or split race card into two halves, minimal people in the paddock, no tellers needed just online wagering, take the temperature of everyone coming in the paddock, everyone wears a mask and gloves and paddock gets washed down after each card
just like going to the grocery or liquor store or car garages

Intercepted phone call between harness trainer Nick Surick and Navarro. Surick–You know how many fucking horses (Navarro) killed and broke down that I made disappear...You know ow much trouble he could get in...if they found out...six horses we killed?

Great quote, only way he doesn´t do time is if he either finds a way to disappear or dies. SD of NY will get their pound of flesh. He is an animal abuser, cheat and they have him on tape admitting it. He will be held accountable, END of story.

I don't get the negativity about racing on this site.  If people don't enjoy harness racing, then why the hell do they comment on the harness site.  Hopefully this corona hysteria passes soon.  No doubt we will have an endless number of Monday morning quarterbacks bitching for the next year that we re-started the economy too soon.  Well, if we don't get it started soon, there won't be an economy left.  Being in the supply business for the race industry for several decades, i'd also like to mention that I've had more deadbeats from thoroughbred racing than I ever did from harness racing.  Never could understand where the TB people got the notion that they were any better off than other forms of horse racing.

Everyone on here that think the POS is innocent need to wake the fuck up, he was successful because he was a cheat plain and simple. Tell us how innocent Oakes, Allard. Banca etc are, PLEASE remember the FBI have tapes, and video of transactions between these geniuses. These people were successful because they cheated. I´m not saying people don t  go over the line a little but LOOK at the facts they trampled all over everybody. They screwed over everyone in the business. Do you like to race with the deck stacked against you. If found guilty they will spend time in prison it is not the county jail. The rest of their lives are ruined along with their families. I think this is far from over for these guys, remember the IRS will also be involved, how much money was made through criminal behavior. Phoney tax returns???????

Meadows canceled Currier and Ives, supposed to be May 22, so I don´t see them opening sooner than maybe June.

What a daily double Surick and Trump, A horse abuser and a human turd, what would be funny is Cohen leaving as they arrive, that would be justice. The only person who took responsibility goes to jail for paying for Trumps sluts.
