The fact is Pocono being open in February now DOES take away a portion of the betting pie vs. last year.  It was discussed in January in the DRF that it could affect the Meadowlands handle in February. The handle was UP $44 million last year over 2018 with the subsidy.  You are effusive in your hating about a few hundred thousand dollar difference now with Pocono open when it was closed last year.  Without the subsidy, the handle would drop in April through August with smaller fields again.  You guys NEVER mention the $44 million increase in handle last year because it destroys your narrative and your silence was deafening last year with no posting on the MASSIVE increases that were seen week by week!
