Remember when I was calling for the end a couple of months ago? It was because I saw that the yearling see we're buying this year we're complete trash, and a lot of them. It's going to become evidently obvious that after 67 training bill there's only one person doing well in this endeavor and it would have been much more consumer-friendly to have 30 better yearlings than 67 second-rate ones but guess who makes more money when they're 67 instead of 30

I really wanted this to work and I invested tons of money in it but I saw the owners and their pocketbooks come at the bottom of the totem pole

Thanks to your diligent enterprise, he has only 67 two year olds.   tmbz1

market dynamics are what they are
supply and demand is rarely wrong
currently it would appear too many yearlings were bought for the customer base to absorb
without significant new owners/cash coming in this backlog/backup is predictable

with good stable management that's not a lot of horses

he just has to have very good second and third trainers you can trust

and you have to pay to get them..

This will get ugly this year yet SC and WEG will still promote Anthony. Then you look at Mark Steacy's babies a 1000% better trainer and he has only 29 and Steacy is very legit on his bills and his owners are not losing. Not sure when the other shoe will fall on TheStable but I can hear Anthony already saying he did the best he could for his owners but things just didn't work out.

Exactly...and meanwhile he is winning the cam fella award.

That is true Brown Jug. With so many shares held over and invested in 3 year olds. I don't know exact total but say clients went from 700 to 800 not nearly enough to entice more clients investing in "entertainment". Ala a lot of horse flesh let to be paid and not left holding. Especially with stake payments and accruing the daily cost getting sucked in.
