drifting to the middle in the stretch
« on: October 24, 2019, 10:22:34 PM »
saw a heavy favorite tonight drift to the middle of the stretch tonight at MK...

made me remember that at Meadowlands I think it was the early 2000s there was a nice horse there that use to consistently drift across the stretch every week...anyone recall this horses name?

Well the best horse that did that all the time was way before 2000. Village Jackpot

Not sure about the Big M one but there seem to be a lot of drifters at Mohawk. Not sure if its the track, trainers or both. Remember Adams had a dead lame one a few years ago that would drift all the way out near the grandstand. Poor horse was racing in decent conditions at Mohawk only to be at Cal-Expo in the next year.

Ideal Jet does it a pile at Mohawk...

Leonard Lalonde Jr had one more then a decade that would be out 8 wide every week, raced open mares a spell, Luc Oulette used to drive , maybe someone can remember her name, im thinking it was Four Starzzz Melissa but I'm probably wrong.
