I have mixed feelings about this guys driving

he sends pretty much everything to the lead and into play which to me is a plus

but almost as if he does it all the time?

Yes, he sends and that's good.  Only problem is he's not talented so he uses too much getting there and rarely see him win on anything other than the best horse.  I suppose hes worthy of some betting respect when he's first time driving a younger horse at a price that hasn't shown pace before but thats it.  Frankly, the top 10 drivers at Mohawk are all mediocre without any difference between them and MacDonald is a several floors below them.

All that said, his drive on Arvika tonight was admirable

admirable??
lets review
went inside 3 pylons in the first turn , thats hard to do, was he getting pinched down by the #2 on his outside, regardless lets move on
leaves and gets shuffled to 3rd , comes out first over, pretty clear all he has to beat is the 1,2,5 who are in the 4 horse breakaway with arvika
so he blasts out a 27.4 3rd qtr and predictably tires in the last 1/8 to get beat by those 3 horses he blasted by
how about pulling out of 3rd and SLOWLY marching up on the outside in say oh maybe a 29 second third qtr and have something left late in the lane
of course its all a moot point, did i mention the 3 plylons in the FIRST turn

love when he drives because he's almost always an autotoss. Amac off is almost always an upgrade too.

I would agree that their are many jealous haters on this site......but in the case of Amac the facts are the facts:
- he should never sit behind a horse in an actual race because he can't drive (fact)..I believe his career driving stats support this statement
- the stable loses money on almost all horses (some due to his lack of driving abilities) yet Anthony is lining his pockets
- Great for Anthony that he found a way to earn some good$$ on the backs of TOTAL IDIOTS that would ever invest in this fractional ownership thinking they are going to turn a profit (go to one of the farms, bring some apples and carrots and go pet the horses....it's much cheaper)
- Anthony has horse knowledge and can train as long as he is using what the other successful trainers are using

its very simple
dont join  if you dont want to
its not perfect but other trainers/stables could adopt a few of their ideas
and if you are not a current member of the stable  you have no right to complain , stfu
