I am excited for the sale but a little fearful the prices are going to be driven up by the gaming bill.  I don't think this class of yearlings will benefit much from the slots.  What do you guys think?   How much do you think they will be up from last year? Who do you like?

They will be higher for sure and with little info coming from track or horsemen on a sire program would think the gaming bill might best benefit toward 3 year old season. Maybe next year finals get a boast along with the state fair finals. Horse has to look the part to command a price however

I agree and we have no idea how much slots will generate with the market being so saturated.   I am still excited for the 3 I like but will not pay more than a 25 percent premium from last year.  I still think you need to have a top 5 horse in the state not to lose too much money.

Well prices definitely show people are optimistic about Illinois racing.  I thought maybe up 100 percent but would have never guessed 200 percent.
