Why would you sell a horse a few days before she races for a $300,000 purse? What am I missing here? It seems like she has a shot to win it or at least pick up a really nice check.

If they don’t race in Ohio, why did they breed there? And how is she eligible for final? Sounds like they have been racing there!! Little honest  Amish word crafting

Nowhere to race after the final, no guarantee he'll lead the division at 3, basically get's the winner's check at the sale...could also be dead lame, lol.

  • Bought some beautiful yearlings this year

Ervin obviously thinks she has no shot to win the big 1

We don't need to race, it's the camaraderie & the bond with the horses that makes it special.
*3 y.o colt has 2 wins so far as a sophomore,  3 starts
 *3 y.o filly has surprised, a win & a 3rd,  3 starts

That entry was made before the horse reeled off a couple recent wins. Enter if she didn't show progress or sell when she is at her best. Or not sell at all. Wasn't a IN bred sold a few years back before the final for a nice price. Pacer?

If you can dish criticism out, you better learn how to take it!  Never too late to read and learn. Grow up!
