Hoosier Observations
« on: July 28, 2019, 01:42:20 AM »
Widger is untouchable, has Dave Magee’s blessings to wreak havoc without consequence.
Trace Tetrick is average at best without loaded up horses.
Delong is a horse abuser, frequently one hands horses after the race.
LeWayne Miller has plenty of stock and is overachieving.
OO is by far driving the best of the bunch.
Macomber is totally lost except on his on stock . Stiffs his young mounts consistently.
Bates gets mostly leftovers & is trying, often too hard.
Everyone else is just in the way.
Track surface seems to be night and day from one xard to the next
Emily just gets heavier every week.
Steve Cross is as entertaining as paint drying.

Did I miss anything?

That place has turned into a joke with Widger driving as he pleases while knowing full time Dave Magee has got his back..

There is a take down in the last race on Saturday that even Bill Laimbeer would applaud the flop technique used by the horse first over who is clearly done at the top of the stretch.
I see horses pushing out with much less clearance at pretty much every track in America..
Then go back to race 6 & watch Widger , who should be parked the mile intimidate the horse in 3rd down the backstretch by putting a wheel dangerously under the horse in 3rd & basically pushing his way into the 2 hole..Not even an inquiry!!!!!!

The fans continue to take it up the arse  (fewer & fewer) while Davey & Sam go on theoir weekly fishing trips..
GIMME SOME MONEY..I am looking for pound notes, loosee change, bad checks, anything..

SURFACE AT TIMES CAN BE UNKIND ,,BUT ITS RACING

AGGRESSIVE DRIVING  .ALMOST EVERY RACE.

BEST HARNESS TRACK IN MIDWEST

PADDOCKS ,,STALLS, BARNS .ALL NEAT AND CLEAN ,,( not like hawthorne)

THEY TREAT HORSEMEN GREAT

CASINO AND STEAKHOUSE FABULOUS

MY ONLY DISAGREEMENT IS WITH THE STAKES PROGRAM THIS YR
