what the hell...Hawthorne shooting off fireworks at 10:15 p.m. on a Sunday night. Brilliant. Probably set off 200 gang killings in Shitcago.

Screw this...Hey Hawthorne, here's an idea: Next time you want to have a fireworks display on June 23--why? who knows--start your race card early and have the fireworks AFTER the races, not in between race 8-9 on an 11-race card, creating a 40-minute delay at 10:30 at night.Unbelievabl e.

Well numbnuts maybe you're not as smart as you think. angbk

The fireworks display is at the conclusion of this festival every year and Hawthorne is given advanced notice.

So yes they could start earlier and avoid the lengthy delay if they wanted too. tmbz1

But then we would all miss Peter telling us "For those of you not here at Hawthorne you missed a great show". ngc3

Since Hawthorne showed the entire fireworks display on their simulcast signal, not sure what I missed? ngc3

LOSERS WILL BE LOSERS AND HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING TO BITCH ABOUT
IF THEY WOULD HAVE STARTED EARLIER, THEY WOULD BE CRYING ABOUT THAT

HANDLE WENT UP AFTER THE FIREWORKS.

MY KIDS LOVED THE FIREWORKS.

THANKS FOR THE BEER SPECIALS DURING THE BREAK

It happens 2/3 times a year, as usual Hawthorne does a good job handling the situation. Now stop bitching swoodall!

So the handle goes up after the fireworks.... everyone seems to love it and Hawthorne embraces it.

At least you’ve stopped ripping a good guy who passed away.
