Friday Night at the Meadows
« on: May 26, 2019, 05:26:24 PM »
Big crowd for food trucks, didn't look they were betting, eating and watching weiner dog races. We need bettors not fans. How much did they handle? Need bettors not family fun nights.

i was  there also. Alot of that was for the food trucks and fireworks, alot of teenagers also. Someone on an earlier post here said the on-track handle was 44k, which isnt bad.

Most bettors begin as fans when they're younger... Let them view a product that has a little integrity and possibilities at a return on investment you may just turn them into bettors. Instead we keep stealing their $2 and complain that they don't come back!

They'll come back to the casino long before they will come to bet on that product the meadows puts on.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
