Starting Sunday night I thought I had the flu. Steadily progressed and Wednesday morning had blood work and stomach x rays. By 8pm the pain was unbearable. Went to hospital and at 3:30am was admitted to Washington Hospital with a gull bladder attack. Have surgery Friday it appears.

This announcer they have now is painful to listen to, Gym who do you think will replace (the voice) I see you have retired from WJPA radio in Washington. Do you think you might want to Announce a few races.  If the voice doesn’t make a comeback from his surgery?  If you do. Please don’t say... Both. Gym Jefferson worked there as a on air personality for years, I believe he retired a few years ago.  Gym also worked with Roger on the meadows racing network for years.

Gym. You are well Informed, yes Roger did indeed bang Trisha shepherd, and he did buy western millennium for Troy.  Not sure how he could cover up positives. Did you enjoy working with Jim schoolie and big jack, they seem like ok guys.   Any idea when the voice will be back.  Or how long he will be on the shelf. I hear they give him $25,000 a week to do the jug.  Everyone at the meadows loves your post Gym.  Keep on posting. And by all means.  BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
