Would need to be more than one individual "caught and banded" but this barn is so big it wouldn't hurt integrity presuming the horses are moved to other barns.

Drugs are so rampant and people so creative how to beat testing this is less of a variable as far as wagering. I'd like to see better testing more for the safety of these beautiful animals. With regard to betting,  it's of more concern to me regarding non - efforts or worse prearranged results. I think the later goes on more when lower quality cards are involved. If owners start grumbling things are more likely addressed than when gamblers or fans complain. That's why they always have detention barns for major purse races. How can the public read the need for detention barns as anything other than an indictment of racing. It's like a giant neon sign stating some of this crooked.

Cameras are inexpensive. Put one in every barn, every trailer, everywhere the horses go. That will put an end to the drugging. If you go off camera you get automatic scratch.

They bet over 1Million/race in hong Kong on even ordinary races at the two tracks--Ive been there--its amazing.What a great couple days racing I saw there-and the facilities are mind blowing.
Ive also seen the security--they would catch a mouse fart.
Every horse is on the grounds--everyone is searched going in-no trucks or trailers allowed in-those that do (feed etc)are searched like you are entering USA from Mexico.There are cameras in every stall in every barn even outside.
Only track Vets are allowed to treat the horses and they are under as much security as Trump.
Every trainer has his phones checked,and if any trainer/jockey seems to be doing extra well or performance out of the ordinary--then they get wire tapped,banks do forensic accounting etc. Inspections are every day events-as is out of competition testing/pre race testing and detailed post race testing..
Then-the icing on the cake-just in case you manage to beat all that security-they have the best drug testing Lab in the world there--place is unreal. Even they are checked and are alternated just in case anyone leaks sensitive information-but most are hired with not a pimple on their record.

Compared to racing here--its like going from the Open pace down to a 12,500 claimer--and we dont have anything here in the Open.
