I said classy move to drop all the bullshit appeals. On the horse sale stuff. Let the buyer beware, buying one from him could be problematic, he was caught with injectables and does have multiple positives. These guys (horse was probably sold to John Wagner not Arlene) should be smart enough to know what they were getting into.

"probably had a clean record at the time" That statement is idiotic, Why in the world would you assume he has a clean record? Not many people in the horse business haven't had to eat one, including me, but you still have to do your home work.

Classy move?
Ask him what happened to the 2 horses he sold- 1 to Dirk Simpson (Naturally Bad) and 1 to Arlene Cameron (Musclehead Andy) last year.
Both went on form sprees while McNeight Jr had them for several races at the same time, and then both wound up being sold to the Amish a few races after being sold to Simpson and Cameron.
What could have done that?

Dirk(who I consider a friend)s owner called me and wanted to but Naturally Bad. I would not sell an owner a horse without first talking to the trainer. I told Dirk I didnt think the horse belonged at the Meadows. A B track would be a better fit. The horse was sound and healthy, but he was pouty. Palone got along great with him,and he won a couple races for me but still was not Meadows calibre. I amished Musclehead Andy, so whoever bought him, took a shot off the amish. Both horses were sold cheap to make room. Ive always dealt squarely.
