Excellent post OIl Can--Ive read about Bea Farber and watched her on youtube--didnt use Lasix and kicked everyones ass.
Its all about fitness and breathing fresh air--Bea had no walls in her barns-they were open air-horses were outside most of the time and had the healthiest lungs you can have.
End result--she cleaned up.Didnt need Lasix then and wouldnt have needed Lasix now.

I just want to be clear. Are you saying that if I race a 950 lb horse with or without Lasix and with equal ability and racing luck against your 1050lb with Lasix, I have an advantage because of physics?

No mike Im saying that a 950 lb horse will be faster weighing 930 lbs than he would if he was 950.
And if I raced a horse against you with exactly the same ability and it also weighed 950 had no lasix but yours did-you beat mine.
Forget about different weights--its on an individual basis.
