do you Chicago guys remember a young horseman named bruce bilter? he got himself broke in the business, had a young family depending on him and committed suicide when I was racing out there.

I felt badly for his family

I heard that greg koblinski had died. where is victor peguese these days gregs partner phil who was an English teacher. jeff piene who raced a very nice trotter "chad e carlton was dealing cards on one of the boats. thosewere some of the guys hanging in the horsemans kitchen when I was there. mike patineo and his brothers and dad,

Mark was a diabetic, did not have money for his insulin and went into a diabetic coma and died in his sleep.

Majority of people have less then 500 dollars in a bank account or rainy day fund. Not sure why a comment of being penniless is a valid point. He stuck around a broken state for racing. I've seen millionaires loss millions in this industry and break them.
