75 percent of them that come up here, cannot keep up down there, especially when they move up in class.

There are a few exceptions as we have seen of late but being that most Kiwi's are more into racing than breeding then the good ones down there win too much money for them to sell by racing there and across the ditch.

I would like to see Purdon bring a team up here and acclimate. With his owners, They would be winning plenty. He's lights out with Pacers and most of them are by America's top sires these days.

Brian Pelling was the best ever with NZ trotters
Prince Sharvid N. was a very nice pacer of his. Also Call Me Sir N. until he faced off against Jate Lobell in the American National.

The main reason you see so many down under horses coming to North America is because most are bleeders and lasix is only available here. If North America ends up banning lasix, that market will dry up fast.

MIKE 80 PERCENT OF THEM COMIN OVER ARE NOTHIN MUCH

MOST NEEVR GET ORINGINAL INVEST MENT BACK

When I bought that horse, it was sight unseen, as no internet then and also back then most down under races were clockwise which wasn't ideal. Horse was as confused as I was.

Sometimes we are still confused
