Im done with Pompano and I hope others are too. These amateur races have ruined my image of the winter capitol of harness racing. Put over $300 into pk 5 and $200 into pk 6 and these amateur cowboys fuck it all up. Great job by the race secretary to make these races 1/3. Are you fukin kidding me? amateur races are tough but it gives a chance at a bomb so you play the all. as a track pompano is a track that runs pretty true to form. watch it all the time. lots of live longshots that came off bad trips. the handle is pretty good for this day in age.

You only dislike them because you lost, correct? I hit the first race at 12/1. Good betting opportunities unlike races where Wally wins everything at 4/5

Nobody cares what the race secretary and management do. Bad horses and trainers. What owner will send a horse to pay 2-2800 training bill to race for 4,000. Purses are bad. Just make an entire card of 4-5 claimers and handicap the favorites. Amateur races are getting old I agree, but race secretary or management are probably told to write them for the money amateur drivers.
