People can’t survive missing a paycheck? Whose fault is it they can’t save? I bet every one of those people spends a couple thousand on overpriced cable internet and cell phone plans a year. They probably eat out to much buy clothes they can’t afford and cars they don’t need. So it’s the presidents fault people live beyond their means don’t save and go broke after 2 pay periods?

Another totally ignorant post by a know nothing fool.I can tell you why some of these people are living paycheck to paycheck.Most live in areas that have a very high cost of living. They have to in order to work these jobs.Plus many are older couples who help their younger children (some in college) make ends meet.This is 100% true my sister works for the FAA and recently got transferred. Her home that she is still paying the mortgage on is on the market but has not sold yet. So she has a rent payment and a mortgage payment at the same time. She said she can make it another month but thats it. Granted her mortgage on a house she doesn't live in anymore is hurting her finances but she didn't want to rent it because she was hoping to sell it. Now she is scrambling to change her contract with the realtor to allow it to be rented until sold.People don't expect their elected official to act like a child throwing a tantrum shutting down the government and demanding they work without pay.I hope all the assholes slamming these people who have their had lives up ended by this shutdown will one day have to face a similar situation. Your lack of empathy is disgusting.One point which is not lost on my sister or my other hillbilly relatives. They all liked and voted for Trump!All my family is from the south which makes my liberal views a black sheep in my family. So there is nothing you can say that hasn't been said to me before. My family is learning the hard way that there are real life consequences to voting irresponsibly.
