Feel sorry for the buyers of Alagna and Burke trained horses at the sale.  Unless that 100k+ purchase comes complete with a bag full of the special chemicals, none of them will come within 2 seconds of their best ever marks!!!

These prices continue to amaze me.... aren’t you better off grabbing a $30k claimer at 6-7-8 years old and going that route?  Just seems like nutty pricing on these young, untested horses.  One man’s opinion of course.

Same connections who bought Maroma Beach bought Burke's former horse Double A Mint at Harrisburg and they have done very well since that buy.  So am sure they weren't afraid of buying off him despite what you say.
