They got EXACTLY WHO THEY WANTED to get. They didn't care about that vet or ANY other vet. I know someone who tried to get information on whether ANY other vets records were checked and any results were found. OR if any other trainers records were even checked. He even went the FOI requests route. He was told that ALL of that information was "a continuing investigation" and NOTHING would be released. Standard fare when they don't want something getting out. As long as it's "continuing" they don't have to release anything.
Very interesting Viking! Soooo-if the Vet was "excused" IMHO-there is something very wrong about that. I would form the opinion that Vets are given information about drug testing procedures that ONLY they are privy to-and that certain people know about this and use it-so if you "break" this secret covenant the hammer comes down. Lou was rubbing it in everyones face as he was part of this select group who knew how to "beat" the system and broke the covenant.
Its all adding up--the fight to ban testing for steroids,clenbuterol,etc-then also go to extremes NOT to have "out of Competition testing".
IMHO-it would take a person(commissioner) about 5 minutes to find out who is behind all this BS-and root them all out.
