most trainers charge just enough so you dont make any money,if your horse won the open at yonkers every week your training bill and extras will cost you the whole purse money every month so you break almost even,
my east coast pal has been telling me for 2 yrs now,,that he dont mind payin 6700 a horse a month,, HEZ GOT STABLE OF 7 HORSES,,,NONE ARE DOING WELL BUT BILL KEEPS STEADY AT 6700 TO 7250 A MONTH i called him an idiot,,,,WHAT SHOULD MY EAST COAST PAL DO .HEZ NOT A PLOPPERBUT WANTED TO READ IMPUT HERE ,,SO HE CAN DECIDE WHATS AN ACCEPTABLE MONTHLY TRAINING BILL,,JUST MAKE IT ACCEPTABLE,,..PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST..I THINK FRENCH CANADIANS MAKE BEST TRAINERS BUT THATS JUST ME
midwest, around 1800-2300 all in if the horse raced 4 times in the month and didnt have any major vet issues needed. 6700 seems astronomical. have to make 80,000 to break even lol. outrageous.
6 grand or 7 grand to race at Buffalo or FREEHOLD or big mThat's insane ..But apparently grooms have some east coast guys convinced they are TRAINERS
