Avoid sales. Buy private.

Horses are in sales for a reason.Full of bute, tie up, respiratory, bad feet, etc, etc. At private you can pay for a pre purchase exam, jog and train. If the horse is racing, go and look the day before the race. My best tip is to find the groom or some other groom in that barn and shell out $50 or $100. for information about the animal. Remember people in this business talk. A lot of homework is involved and there's still no guarantee, but you can eliminate some of the variables.

That's why on page 2 of the catalog it says "buy at your own risK". Once the gavel falls "you are fuxxxx". False vet reports, x-rays, you name it. Buy at the track you race and or follow very closely. Solid advice  11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp

This sale is always full of overpriced garbage. Take your own vet with you to go over anything you like.
