Does anyone know what happened to Marv Blachrad??

I have not heard or seen Marv so far this year at Dover.

He did retire and is living with family in Arizona. I have known Marv for 40 years. He is a true gentleman who gave his life to this sport. He will be missed

Saw somewhere on Facebook he had to retire for health reasons and is in assisted living.
I met him a couple of times and he was truly a nice guy.  tmbz1

Marv Bachrad, 83, dies

Columbus, OH — According to the United States Harness Writers Association, Marv Bachrad, 83, passed away Friday (Nov. 30).

Bachrad was the publicity director for Dover Downs harness racing for the past 21 years, and a racing writer, journalist, handicapper, announcer, historian and champion of the sport since the 1960s.

A full obituary and arrangement information will be posted when available.
