I was pleasantly surprised by my last visit to Batavia in Sept. Many upgrades, a great dining room, good food, My favorite wine @ 15.00/bottle. & we won some $$.

Raced there back in the 80's...... they've really improved!

From a patron perspective (not sure about the horseman side of facility). Saratoga is near the top. Easy highway access. Safe area. Staff and tellers are professional. No patrons of the raceway on a  regular basis but simulcast area  does well.

Wish they were a regular casino instead of a Racino though. The casino games (blackjack, craps etc) are way better than the slots.

I’m not a fan of Tioga ,,,,,terrible handle and soso racing

a good $5 million Renovation...new Race office....



Batavia is a fairly old track last time I was there 5 yrs ago...

YR need new upgrade for sure......but where the $$$ is.

Pocono added the new Hotel/Casino (Mohegan Sun)

Dover Downs in the middle of nowhere....

I remember going there and the purses were $800...

Roosevelt Raceway was the best of all on LI   

amazing place....now a shopping mall.

Maywood.....very trashy.....embara ssing

Northville Downs......a dump.. very sad

bathrooms imploding....with a mouse running around the grandstand.


Hazel Park was not bad.......now a Trucking Lot..


Most tracks are gone....or will be soon..


Havent been to Med since the new grandstand built


Vernon Downs has nice hotel overlooking track....


in a nice setting.....good racing....small handle.
