Regardless of what they own they made money in 2013 and made money in 2014 their totals for the year for 2013 were 15 million and simulcast + 650000 + live racing wagering dollars.    2014 was lower but they still made good money any business owner would be happy with a business that made 15 million in a year's time

Those were the earnings for Sports Creek Raceway 2013 and 2014 it does not matter to me what they own outside of their new venture they will make the Horseman happy and give them a spot to race in the people that are left have places to go. It also generates lots of income for the township

My dad told me long time ago if horse has four legs he has a chance to win a race it doesn't matter what the odds are on the odds board and  it's just matters what they put in the tank before the race and how the horse was trained. Do you really have any options other to move or sell your horses and then work at McDonald's

And to be honest if it is thoroughbreds there's not much quality ones left here if it's standardbreds there pretty much bottom-of-the-barrel also here unless they shipped from Indiana or Ohio

Just the quality of horses will be in question and how many entered in each race

I don't see any new posts of news besides the one that was supposed to be from 4 years ago when the Horsemen's Association offered to buy it then and management and ownership Sports Creek would not come to terms with them then and a Sit dormant in empty for 4 years. It's already been confirmed they own the property and now are working on contracts with the gaming board and days for live events

Thank you for posting the article I hadn't seen that one however everything listed in there has already been what they plan to do they have to upgrade the facility because the owners strip the building took out all the all the TVs any anything worth money was sold off obviously upgrade the bathrooms and clean the place back up and obviously weather pertaining to upgrades to the racetrack and racing surface and changing the configuration to run throughbreads I'm not sure why you said highly doubtful they'll get it done they already own the property they've already signed and in the process of closing already seen advertisements for now hiring for help and meet the new owners of Sports Creek Raceway in Holly Michigan on the 18th of November. And they are currently going through the contract with the Horsemen's Association

So what else can you say the rest of the Minor Details will be worked out as soon as they go through all their process but in accomplishing all they have in less than 60 days is surprising my congratulations to all involved they work tirelessly to get this deal put together
