Impressive- considering the quality and international breadth of the field not unwarranted. Still a coup to get the News to run this.

Got lucky though the Yanks are dead plus the Giants and Jets stink.

Really do wish Yonkers was a 7/8 or mile track though.

Not looking a gift horse in the moith..any image like this wondergul..a terrific cover..
But the daily news did nothing. Empire city casino paid for the front page.

Although it is impressive, it is not "front page news". It appears to be a paid advertisement, a "wrap". Who paid for it? Was it Yonkers Raceway? Was it a special deal for a long term advertising contract with Empire Casino? Was it paid by NYSOA, in part or whole?
What really matters is the impact it has on the event. I hope today is a success and inspires others to commit marketing and advertising dollars to more harness racing events.

Since they fired almost all of their reporters about a month or two ago nobody is reading the news anymore. Have you seen the paper? It's about 6 pages long.
