The only aspect of that whole amateur hour that was respectable was the camera shots from the drone. Other than that, the announcer Vance Cameron(bruhahah) is an egomaniac like Roger Huston(151 and threeeeeeeeeeeeee eee) and Ken Warkentin(it's a Taktertonian) and Simon Allard is apparently a punk with no respect for the sport.

For my money, which doesn't amount to much, the 2 best announcers were Tom Durkin and Sam McKee with an honorable mention to the guy who announces Mohawk. They were/are clear, concise and most importantly accurate. I watch a ton of races from all over the place and it amazes me how many times announcers call the wrong horse, sometimes 2 or 3 times in the same race. I am sure it's a tough job but if it is your job than you can't make mistakes like that.

I can't comment on Mohawk announcer as I don't follow that track  but definitely agree with you on Dunkin and McKee..back in the day Jack E Lee was an entertaining announcer at Roosevelt and I thought Max Brewer and Jerry Glanz did nice calls up in Monticello...I'm sure when the grandstands were filled with thousands of fans it was much more exciting to be an announcer ..it's gotta be a little tough trying to make a race sound exciting when there are barely any fans at the track ..

This is harness racing. Showing emotion and showboating is not acceptable. What is acceptable is:
Being loaded drunk and drooling all over your self in the paddock
Hitting on and groping the help even though she is 20 yr younger and you are 60 lbs over weight
When an owner gives the trainer $100 tip for the groom and he pockets $90 and gives the groom $10
Stiffing the vet, blacksmith, feed store, tack store, money
Stiffing an owner on shipping bills to support your drug habbit
Winning a stake race and going to the winners circle with dirty jeans you haven't washed in a week and mustard stains all over your shirt
killing your horse because you have no fucking clue what you are putting in him because you flunked out of high school in grade 9
