I'LL ALERT GOSHEN
For all of you negative people bashing an 18 year old just starting out. Keep in mind, he has only been driving for 3 or 4 months. Ocean downs was mentioned, and being his main track driving at, he has half the amount of starts as the leading drivers and drivers that have done this for years and his average is decent. Being a driver is rough as many of them know, unless they were handed everything and only drove top notch horses. Declan on the other hand isn't as privileged and sometimes drives bottom of the barrel long shots. It's how it is and being a new driver you take what you can get and appreciate it. Without a doubt, every start this kid gets, whether he's first or last, he takes it and thinks about what he did wrong and trys to better himself as a driver. And these shitty comments are surely not a confidence booster. Think before you post. For a dying business, anyone involved should praise the younger generation that's taking a chance, not talking shit without even knowing him. For the comment of the non drugged Malone horses... he's had quite a few starts that Brian's didn't come across the wire first, so that's an innacurate question. Declan is one of the few that you can tell him what to do and he's gonna listen and respect the trainers wishes. Maybe atleast give him a year and more learning experience before judging and being an asshole on the internet! Keep up the good work declan!!
