Mohawk Monday 7/30 Dream Maker 1st leg
« on: July 29, 2018, 11:04:16 PM »
Race 3 - YG gave up on Captain Ahab early, and, in the Spring, Alagna mentioned Shipshape, not CA.  CA will be 1/5 and singled off of silly M times, and Barnsdale making him a singled BB. I will bet against with Shipshape and Macs Power.

Race 9 - US Captain might be best bred 2YO this year.  But Gingras, not driving anywhere else tomorrow as far as I can tell, isn’t bothering to come up for this.  He could’ve driven this one and an Alagna horse in the 3rd, and catch drives for extra cash, especially since most of the driver colony will be at Grand River for the early part of the card.  Still, hard to bet against, even though he didn’t dazzle at M.  I’ll play him and Dancin Lou, and hope Lou pulls the first leg upset!

What do you mean by YG gave up on CA early in the spring? He drove him as recently as June 23rd?

this will be an Alagna-Alagna exacta 1-3

trying to beat #1 is foolish unless you think he will break

Nailed it.

The Ian Moore baby was way overbet in the exactas...he doesnt ask them for huge efforts first and 2nd time out

if you like Captainahab...... ..

race 9 #5 US Captain didnt finish far behind him 2x.....not sure what price to expect with other solid babies in

Alagnas seem to show a major step forward in their 2nd and 3rd starts....more than other outfits
