When many of our ancestors came over to America in the late 1800's and early 1900's many felt it necessary to Anglicize their last names to avoid anti-semitism ...Thank goodness there's no anti semitism on this forum..

What about the Greeks or the Armineans? 

I appreciate the celebration of ethnicity.  Jews, Italians, Greeks.... We are all made by one God.

Crude humor is fodder here, as is crying about it. One of my best pals is jewish and i still laughed my ass off here...I told him I bought a new oven the other day and he laughed too.  tmbz1
