When many of our ancestors came over to America in the late 1800's and early 1900's many felt it necessary to Anglicize their last names to avoid anti-semitism ...Thank goodness there's no anti semitism on this forum..

I appreciate the celebration of ethnicity.  Jews, Italians, Greeks.... We are all made by one God.
