As a capper, Brett Risi does a good job and gives some great analysis. The announcing gig though needs some work. He’s gassed at the 1/4 pole. Need an adjustment. Give him props for having the guts to do it, BUT there HAS to be a better option!

Risi won't pick a horse if his ML is more than 4-1 but then again management tells him to pick chalk anyway so what's the point.  BTW what the fuck is the deal with Horny calling the kids picking up horses on the track fat?

He and Horne both picked Hurricane Howard in the 6th last night at 5-1.
Put the kiss of death on him (ran 3rd).

This is coming right from Risi.  He picked one 5-1 in the ML but he does pick mostly chalk... Horny picks the longer ones all the time.

Yes but it seems as though there is rarely a winner over 7-1 or 8-1. Even when there is, payouts are limited. Tioga has very good racing with some excellent trainer/drivers. Some minor improvements and it could be one of the better tracks to be at/bet. But, much like any Harness track still surviving, little focus on horses.
