Mal Mara has to be the biggest disappointment for a touted animal over the past couple of years. Yes he did 270k last year but too many people think he is so much more and now at the age of 9 he will not be getting my wagering cash as once again an underlay moving forward. Father time taking the lead.
I agree to an extent
He is just an unlucky horse
Had to face the likes of some of the best pacers when he was a 2 and 3 yo
And also when he was a 7yo couple years ago
Only won 1 stakes race as a 3 yo and was just an oss gold
Also beat sweet Lou as a younger horse
But not sure if that was stakes event
Can’t remeber
Hopefully he will break through for him
He owes no one anything
And will most likely be the best lis Mara to ever race
