I lived in Illinois when my career as a cpa 1st started (at Arthur Anderson downtown Chicago). I don't remember any ira smolin involved whatsoever in harness racing. isn't this guy in his 50s or 60s? funny but I can remember the names paisley, marsh, Hostetler, busse, moats, Anderson, porcelli, holdeman, etc. ...but not smolin. did I miss something?

Ira was long before my time. Lots of people at maywood said Ira was good back in the day but not to trust him today. Anywho he always been nice to me and I appreciate Ira doing whatever he could to get us back racing. There seems to be lots of jealous fucks on this site who don't like Ira. Go figure!!

Lets see I was rookie driver of the year in 1976.....holy fuck am I old..... I did best at Washington pk.        There was no casino..no parlors. ..no internet. ...thousands in the stands. ...I raced against the BEST. .we were a sport.....we had.media coverage.   ALI....Came out to drive a horse...I LIVED DURING OUR HAY DAY
