When i place a bet and pay the largest chop in any form of gambling my protection from someone who is able to see my bets and work the pools to their advantage then it is 100 percent crooked but today racetracks do not care how money gets into the pools as long as it gets there, Million dollar handles is a must in most places as racetracks need to show a huge handle to get WELFARE that is not deserving, A friend of mine works in a casino in New Orleans and he is upper management and he told me that the key to running gaming is to treat the customer as its your family and be as fair and kind as you can be and you will not have any problems with most people and they will gamble and money will be made by the operators, Most people that play harness racing do not believe they got fair play for their money, The betting needs to shut off with a minute to post as nobody can tell me that seeing an even money shot offstride before the start is an unfair advantage that track could care less about because its all about handle not fair play and the computers of Elite can get in to every pool when this happens , Racetracks with poor food and poor racing with Pari mutual advantages with a crazy high chop is not a good recipe, Every year in Arizona racetrack management all get together in a large room and over a hundred people who never placed a bet in their lives try to figure out on how to grow the game, When an INQUIRY go on the board i am to afraid of what the judges will decide as most judges are people that trained or drove and have made friendships over the years with the people involved in the inquiry. i do not see one plus to this games future as most tracks have no giveaways and poor food with bad service,,, I listed to this new rider who won the KINGS PLATE at woodbine and he showed great class in thanking everyone involved with the horse and i can tell you i have never seen a harness driver show this class, I can promise you no changes will be made until welfare money goes away.Speaking of judges.....DELAWA RE has now hired former trainer/driver from the same circuit that is related to at least 3 horsemen who race in Delaware....she even lives on the same road as one of them.....right down the street.....I cannot make this stuff up

Elite and all other caws not allowed in the new sunset pick 6 wager at thorough bred tracks. 1. How do we know they really aren't in the pools? There is zero transparency. 2. Why is this such a big marketing idea? Cause thw caws obliterate the pools they are allowed in?3. Why doesn't elite fight to be allowed in any pool everyone else is in? Cause they know not to bite the hand that feeds them? Cause they know tit for tat what they are doing now really shouldn't be legal or allowed? Someone has to figure out a way to force gural to turn over every piece of his caw data to the public gamblers.
By far mymakes sure there can be no winning players as the number one post ever on horse plop, I wish more people understood how important of an issue this is. At woodbine they have a poker room that chops up to 20 dollars a pot in a 1-2 no limit poker game and Great canadian casino grabs every dollar and that is what ELITE is doing to the horse racing game with suits that have no understanding of gaming at all and driven out the gambler who loves the game and buys or claims horses because of his love of the game and every year the owners list will get smaller as every part of the game is a loosing investment.
