opening night at Batavia downs
« on: July 27, 2025, 12:41:21 AM »
We had a decent crowd tonight with some good steak races! Bartlett was on fire! Glad they are closer to home now. Buffalo is a pool of waste
from Mango on down.

Was at Batavia for the fair races on the 24th and opening night.

The new head of WROTB Byron Brown was cruizing around fair day and actually said hello.  If you read the USTA article for opening night, he has a good PR Director as they mention him in the 2nd paragraph.  A little disorganized for the fair races as people weren't sure where to go.  Long "drag' between the fair races too!  They could have been practicing for opening night.!   tmbz1

Everything seemed organized in the paddock opening night.  People saying Batavia backstretch much better than Buffalo.

I thought it was busy at trackside.  FYI, rumor has it as this is Western New York in July, you have to do something and the casino is there too!

good "steak" races?  Sounds to me like you have shit for brains or simply never made it past sixth grade.

Your words are a little harsh don’t you think. Maybe getreal was just hungry and got a little confused?
