I agree. Other than adding conditions to let someone into a race, unfortunately, they are going to react to the population they have. Lower quality, not competitive, and so on. Sad state of affairs that racing two days a week you have lower quality racing. This is the part where it gets worse before it gets better.

Not counting 2nd tier wins is a real head scratcher.

what is their definition of 2nd tier wins?? never seen that one before?

When they have a very poor horse population to choose from, they need to do whatever to fill the races. Unfortunately. their cards are going to get worse for the cheaper horses that try the BIG M and ship now and are not competitive and won't ship again.  And some of the better ones need a rest.

This is just to absolutely confuse the heck out of everyone including the gamblers because you can't make head or tales of whether the horse is up in class or down in class.  Go back to nw2, nw4, nw8, invite, open, 10 claimer, 20 claimer, 30 claimer, 50 claimer, 100 claimer and leave it the fuck alone!

They need to stop being "creative" because the common fan has no clue what all these classes mean.  Keep it simple stupid and stop with the NFL play calling signals.

And these “cheap” horses get to race for meadowlands purse money instead of freehold purse money!!

(2nd Tier Wins & Wins $4,300 1st Money or Less Not Counted)

I love this one! So, if you started from the "2nd Tier" and won and the purse was less than $8800 your good to go!   ngc3  ngc3

What's their definition of "2nd Tier"?
