last night's handle proved another false fact that they need 10 horse fields to bet over $3 million.. They had 5 races with less than 8 horses and even one race had a 5-horse field for $5000-$7500. Of the 10 horse fields they had, one was an amateur race, one was a very low trackmaster race and the other 2 were the lowest condition races.  simply put, they don't attract the best horses around like years past.

Faster horses do not mean better races!!!!  Mlands proves bettors love the big track.  Racing is like baseball.  People love a 7 to 8 game with home runs . Only thing better would be a no hitter  (horse setting a world record).
While I’m on a rant.  How many people are listening to the same old winners circle crap?? Owners and friends being there is ok but reading off the breeding, age of horse , the breeder and driver and trainer ??  Its all in the program.
Skip all that and cut the time between races a few minutes.
Have a nice day.

Sad!  Long gone are the days of 75-100k claiming handicaps on Saturday nights.  I loved M1 then! tmbz1

Try 100-200k claiming handicaps and people actually claimed them out of races too!!
