If he’d shown any signs of injury, we wouldn’t have raced him at The Meadows. You saw how easily he won his elimination.”

OK so IF it happened at the Meadowlands then that horse set a world record on a track that's at least a second slower than Pocono WITH a fractured bone.   How much of a monster is he?

McDuffee also said he won’t make a hurried decision on the horse’s future.

“It’s not a life-threatening injury; it will heal in time,” he said. “There could be a lot of records he could set at 4. Stallion-wise, he’s also generating a lot of interest. He’s a very special, smart horse. Papi Rob will be heard from again.”

Not taking anything away from Allywag. He is a nice Colt as well. I am just not sure Allywag can get around all the tracks. Might be best on the big ones. Could go huge at the Red Mile. IMO he seems to hit his knees or something going through the turns. Once he is straight he is lightning fast. Don't count out TDS. One race does not make a season. Still would have been fun to see them all compete. To be the best 3 year old you have to show up for 4 or 5 months and dance with the best. Time will tell who can do that.
