How come some horses----
« on: June 28, 2026, 11:59:10 PM »
don't like their pictures taken in the winner's circle?

I've own a piece of 2 right now and they're a 'trainwreck' while the picture is taken.

Any explanations?

Some don't handle the adrenaline as well as others.
Some just very impatient and routine oriented.
Some are frantic because something's bothering them.
Some may have started that behavior for a reason and even if that reason doesn't exist anymore, were never made to act right.

They just ran around a track as fast as they could.

Now they have to stand perfectly still.

Personally they should not only be agitated, but be allowed to start biting people.

They act up because they are in a foreign environment where the are not in an area where they usually stop and get unchecked on a regular basis. Believe it or not some horses can overcome this by having someone stop them while jogging or done training to get used to the process.  THIS IS WHY SOME GUYS ARE HORSE TRAINERS AND OTHERS ARE JUST GUYS WHO RACE HORSES!!!! : 73cv.2

We have all seen it with the trrougbreds too! Very anxious and skittish after a race.

They just had their ass beat with a whip for the last 1/4 mile(except if your driver is Ceba Horsey) how to you expect them to stand still?

I agree with this in general.  Certain trainers' horses tend to be much "calmer" in the winners' circle; i.e. Melander, Tackter
