Phoenix Trotting Park

Does anyone remember Phoenix Trotting Park built in the 1960's?. I think they raced for 2/3 years before they closed. Location was Goodyear AZ.

Funnigan Dunnigan was the old nickname from when he was with Billy Haughton. Used to be the life of the party at Dr. Steele’s yearly party during Grand Circuit at Vernon Downs back in the day.

That was Eddie one of his sons,was always a fun guy.so was Jimmy Jr.

Not only Buffalo Raceway, everything else he owned. Like I said, he was all in. He was never quite the same.

Not a good trade even where harness racing is today 2026 compared to harness racing 1966!
